I finished the Eve-rewrites (and I'm almost done with their reimplementation in code) just in time to have begun rendering again yesterday. I can't even begin to tell you how much better Eve's quest is after the edits. The first draft was way more dramatic than I intended. I think that's because I'm a beginner when it comes to writing, and the main consequence of that is that I instinctively link emotional charge, dilemmas, and personal growth to good writing, and as a result I automatically tend to write long, heartfelt monologues and that kind of stuff, and then my dialogue sounds like some accountant tried writing a play in their free-time. I hope I'm making sense.

Anyway. After the edits, Eve's quest is now way more natural sounding, cuter, and waaay closer to the story of friendship, budding love, and camaraderie than I intended at the very beginning. It also introduces her future job way better than it used to.
In terms of amount of content: I removed a scene, but the other scenes got longer, so I ended up with more dialogue lines (and more content by extension) in the end.
I also decided to start the renders with Eve's sex scene, because unlike with a simple, non-erotic scene, sex scenes are visually-driven for the most part, so I'll write the remaining lines on top of the renders, as opposed to making the renders on the lines like I do with story events. This will allow me to have all the lines written by the time I finish the renders, and in turn this will allow me to fully implement the code for Eve's events.
I also had just enough time to write a side-(sex)event for Eve. 3 of those are planned, but I'll hold off on writing the other 2 to make sure I hit the February deadline.

Here's the first render of Eve's sex scene by the way. I showed a similar render to the manager tier-supporters a few weeks ago, but it looked quite different. Here's the definitive version.

I'm not sure what to add to that, except that development is going great. A lot of content to look forward to ^_^
