Progress report 10NOV

Since this progress report is a bit long, I'm going to divide it in "paragraphs", to make it more clear.

The progress:

As I'm writing this progress report, about 1850 dialogue lines have been written. During the last 10 days I concluded Sheila's story, wrote a repeatable event for Riley, and resumed writing events for Eve's quest. In terms of events, Sheila received a small phone call event, and a long event that includes a sex scene. This sex scene will make extensive use of the new horniness system, and the game will suggest you to save up your energy... I suggest you listen :p

To compare with 0.5, 0.4 had about 1500 dialogue lines in the released product, and those were scattered around about 40 smaller events. 0.5 has (as of now) 1850 lines, and most of those are shared between basically 2 quests. So you can expect less events, but way longer than you had before. And that brings me to my next point.

Order of releases:
I've given more thought in what I said in my previous progress report about possibly releasing an unfinished product, but sooner. And the conclusion is: I can't bring myself to release something I'm not happy with. And the biggest reason for that is that I don't want people to get the wrong idea about this update.
This update has a few main points. Of course there is the introduction of Eve and Sheila with sex scenes, those are big ones. But there's also the horniness system, more repeatable events, and elements like the Family Reunion Proposals (house rules), and some elements of clothing evolution that is tied into that. The point is to include those elements in 0.5 for the first time.
Basically, I don't want to release an update that has people think "oh, so there won't be any change in the way the girls dress around the house in this game", or "I guess there won't be evolving repeatable events". And I believe that that would happen if, for example, I release only the main events in 0.5 and the side stuff (repeatable events, FRPs) in 0.5.1, which was a possible solution for me to release stuff sooner.

Anyway, here's a solution I came up with: I could work on the main quests and the FRP system first (which is already quite a bit of work), release those as 0.5BETA, and then work on the side-stuff for 0.5FULL. This would have several perks:

- This release would be clearly labelled as BETA, so there wouldn't be any confusion about the release's contents.
- People who support the game would get to play the main quests sooner if they want to

Do note that this wouldn't impact the release date of the FULL version. I've made it clear that I won't release an incomplete 0.5 to the public anyway, that's the whole point. This would only allow me to release the main quests for the supporters sooner, possibly.

Plans for the next 10 days:
The plan is to take 5 more days to write more dialogue, and then I'll start working on either the implementation of events, or the renders. Why 5 days you ask? Because as I stated in previous progress report (IIRC), I was supposed to be done with the writing on the 1st of November. Yet here we are on the 10th, and I'm not even done with Eve's content, which is a main point of this update. So the "why?" is: to keep my sanity intact.

Now I'm realizing that between talking about prioritizing some content, and "preserving one's sanity", this progress report probably doesn't sound very optimistic. Sorry about that. I'm getting a little sick of missing deadlines, but I guess that's part of the job. Please trust that it's not out of being lazy, I think I'm just terrible at judging the size of the contents I want to implement -_-
A simple example: I thought this update would have less dialogue than 0.4 (because 0.4 had a ton of events, albeit small). Well, here we are now with almost 400 more dialogue lines, and I'm not even done with all of it. I hope you guys understand where I'm coming from...

Anyway. Onto the fun stuff: I prepared Alice's outfit for her fancy evening with Sheila. This one will be reserved for Manager tiers and above on the spoiler post ;)
One outfit that I can show you however is Eve's, since it's just an avatar that I've remade.

I don't know if you remember this standing picture when I showed it first, but on its first version she was kicking in the air. Turns out it causes continuity issues on the menus and stuff, so I made it a little more humble. Of course, the dick print is still there however :D

Anyway. I think I talked enough for today. I still have a lot of work ahead of me.
Thank you for reading, see you :)
